John R. Audette is a pioneer in the study of spiritually transformative experiences, or STEs. He is one of the founders of the International Association for Near-Death Studies, or IANDS, and he now serves as the President and CEO of Eternea, which he co-founded with Dr. Eben Alexander and the late Dr. Edgar Mitchell, the Apollo 14 astronaut who was the sixth man to walk on the moon.

John is a veteran, with three years of active duty service in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. He has lately written a book on spiritually transformative experiences and what we can learn from them called Loved by the Light – True Stories of Divine Intervention and Providence, which Roberta thinks is quite wonderful.
