Paula Lenz shares with us the tragedy that befell her family in October of 1983, which is more than forty years ago now, when her younger brother, Donnie, who was then only twenty-six years old, was driving to work one morning and he collided with the engine of a train.

The result for Paula was her lovely book which she wrote three decades later, called Driving Into Infinity – Living With My Brother’s Spirit. Paula is unsparing in talking about her long grief, and the ways that it has affected her whole life.

Her brother has remained a central and active part of her life, and instead of being a downer, Paula’s book is light and powerful and beautiful.
